This work uses photo collage as reportage to criticize the power that corporate branding has over men and women. "The surface of the photograph must be acknowledged." (David Hockney, Yosemite workshops 1987) My contemporary unconventional method mixes images, words, objects, and SX70 Polaroids that were re-photographed on Ciba-Copy paper. The layering of the work presents issues that deal with identity and the unlimited public pressure of beauty. Cultural indicaters are evolving to embrace nature in reaction to the artificiality of "produced" beauty.
